Reporting a time or forecast that looks wrong
So that we can check it, please include:
- the address of the page, or the city or ZIP code you used;
- the date of the night and what you saw on the page;
- what you expected, and where that figure came from (another site, an observation, a newspaper);
- your browser and device, if part of the page did not load.
Many differences between sites come from definitions rather than mistakes: whether "sunset" is the top or the middle of the Sun, which supermoon rule is used, or which weather station's forecast is shown. Our methods page lists the definitions we use.
Suggesting a city or a feature
We cover cities that have their own sky (see tonight by city); any other US location works with its ZIP code on the home page. Tell us which place or feature you are missing and how you would use it.
